Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Phoenix Opportunity Hub ("Phoenix", "we", "us", "our") and all related services (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. About us
Phoenix Opportunity Hub is operated by Phoenix Business Data Consulting Ltd UK, registered in Scotland (Companies House number SC868944). For questions about these Terms, contact info@phoenixopportunityhub.com.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3. Your account
- You may create one personal account. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited unless expressly permitted.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for other legitimate business reasons.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable or impair the Platform.
- Post false, misleading or fraudulent content, including fake opportunities or impersonation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or other users' accounts.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform without our written consent.
- Harvest or collect personal data of other users without their consent.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware or other harmful code.
5. Content and intellectual property
- All content on the Platform (logos, text, graphics, software) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
- You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Platform (e.g. CVs, applications). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and distribute it for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.
- We may remove content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate.
6. Opportunities and third parties
- The Platform lists scholarships, jobs, events and other opportunities from third-party providers. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability or legitimacy of any third-party opportunity.
- When you click through to a third-party site or submit an application, that provider's terms apply. We are not responsible for their actions or content.
- "Verified" badges indicate that we have conducted a review, but this does not constitute a guarantee.
7. Subscriptions and payments
- Phoenix Plus and Phoenix Pro are paid subscription plans. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- We may change subscription fees with reasonable notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.
8. Disclaimers
- The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
- We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on information found on the Platform, including applying for opportunities or purchasing third-party services.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Phoenix Business Data Consulting Ltd UK and its directors, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100 if you have not paid anything.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any other legitimate reason, with or without notice.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Scotland.
